C-Diary is a diabetes diary for cellular phones.
Which phones are supported? See below.

The "C" in C-Diary is the abbreviation for "Cellular". The English pronounciation of C-Diary is identical to that one of SiDiary, an electronic diabetes diary for Windows, Windows Mobile and Java by SINOVO Ltd. & Co. KG. The initial idea was to write an input module for SiDiary, which runs on cellphones using the Symbian operating system, because this is a gap in the SiDiary product family.
My application quickly evolved into a seperate product, independent from SiDiary. Hence the different but still similar name.

If you are looking for a Symbian diabetes diary which is compatible with mediaspects DIABASS, have a look at my program "DIASYM"!

The intensive contact to the SINOVO team assures that C-Diary will always be compatible to SiDiary, so that you can transfer all your diabetes data tracked with C-Diary on your cellphone to SiDiary on the PC, and gather, manage and evaluate the data there. Direct data transfer from C-Diary to SiDiary Online is possible using the "SiDiary AirSync".

C-Diary comes with a few valuable statistical analysis features. But for complex analysis and report generation, I recommend to use a PC-based or server-based solution such as SiDiary.

On which cell phones can C-Diary be used?

C-Diary runs on the Symbian platforms UIQ2, UIQ3, Series60 (S60) 2nd, 3rd and 5th edition.
Thus many current phones made by Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and other manufacturers are supported.

The following list shows phone models which should support C-Diary. I cannot guarantee that C-Diary indeed runs on all of these phones, because I cannot test all of them. Also, the list may be incomplete.
In order to find out if C-Diary is supported by your phone, please download and install it. Before buying a license, it will run in demo mode and you can try all features before you buy a license.

A current overview over Symbian phone is available in the cell phone lists provided by Wikipedia:

For a donation in €:

Your donation, even if it's just a single USD, will help me to:

  • finance the server that hosts the site
  • justify time I spend with maintaining the site and do not spend with earning money otherwise (wife is watching! ;D)
  • just continue to be motivated :)

Since my company "hermocom" does not exist for many years anymore, I am now spending my spare time and private money for all of this. Thank you very much! 🙂

Yours truly,
